What is the cost of a website?

The cost of a website varies greatly depending on its size, scope, goals, and intended market. • Once you've decided to go with Young Seagull, you're requested to make the first payment of 25% which will cover the time, effort and skill that put in to develop the wire frame, site architecture and graphic mock-up for your website.
• Once the whole site is completed and approved and ready to go live, the remaining payment must be made before your site goes live.

How long will it take for my web site to be designed?

The timescale of a website design project is often dictated by the client. If you have a deadline in mind Young Seagull will endeavour to meet it for you. The most common delay in the creation and completion of a new website is waiting for content (text/images) to be sent by the client.

Once my website design is completed - what after sales service do you offer?

If you don’t have the time or expertise in house to keep your website fresh and up to date; Young Seagull can provide tailor made web site maintenance packages so that your site never gets out of date. Maybe you already have a website designed in-house or by another web designer and you need help fixing a few things, or maybe you tried to do the updates yourself and things didn't work out too well. Will my website design be" Search Engine" friendly?

Yes. All of our websites are created with search engines in mind and the website design is compliant with search engine guidelines. It is a good idea for your website to be re-evaluated in time as over a period of time the search engines do alter their rules and algorithms and you will want to be certain that your website is kept up to date and complies with new rules etc.

Why don't you have any Flash websites in your portfolio?

The major reason relates to search engines. Search engines cannot, as of the present time, index the elements of a Flash-based website. Since search engines are responsible for approximately 85% of traffic to a website, this becomes a severe handicap for marketing reasons.

Why don't you have any template package prices like some of your competitors?

The simple answer is "they don't work." Preconfigured websites, or websites created from pre-existing templates, tend not to suit the needs of individual businesses and require a great deal of colour, font, and layout adjustment in order to do so. People can sense effort and will often gravitate toward those websites which demonstrate it.
